Cooking Tip for Success:
Since the Bottom Round is a leaner muscle, it shines brightest when cooked using “low and slow” methods. If you’re roasting it in the oven for sliced beef, we recommend using a meat thermometer and pulling it at 135°F (57°C) for a perfect medium-rare. For a traditional “fall-apart” pot roast, give it plenty of time in the slow cooker or Dutch oven with a savory broth.
