A Christmas Message and Some Exploring – Pasture Posts #44

We took a moment yesterday to record a special message for all of you!

We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.  We definitely did!  Thanks to our great team who all pitched in, we were able to slow the pace a bit for a couple days and spend some extra time with family.

On Friday, we took the kids back to the creek where we have been working on a rock crossing to allow us to better access the strip of land between the creek and the property line.  Shortly after adding the rock to make the ford, a beaver (or two) decided that it was a great spot to make an easy dam, as we had done a lot of the hard part.  So we watched the water rise and the small surrounding trees fall over the week or so that the beavers worked on their new dam.  We have yet to find where they are staying, but we’re hoping with a little agitation we can convince them to move elsewhere so that we can continue to access this remote part of the farm.

Coupon Reminder!

We sent out some emails on Friday, containing some coupons just as a token of our appreciation for your support throughout the year.  If you missed it, be sure to go back in your emails to find it so you don’t miss out!

Herd Members received one worth 20% off!  If you’re not familiar with our Herd Membership program then go check it out.  There’s two levels, Basic and Premium, and they get various perks throughout the year like a free tour, a free t-shirt, special coupons, and free shipping (Premium only).

New Social Feeds Page!

We have finally added a page on our website that brings together all of the posts and photos from Facebook and Instagram that mention us (Facebook: @Watson Farms Pastured Meats, Instagram: @watsonfarmsbeef).

Or if social media isn’t your thing, then you can use a form on the webpage to upload your photo straight to us.

Whichever way you choose, we love seeing how our customers are using our products!

“Renew Now” feature now available for Subscription Boxes

We have enabled a feature for Subscription Box customers where you can make your box renew early if you wish.  For example, if your box renews slightly after a delivery deadline, you could use this feature to make it renew before the deadline.

It’s really easy as well.  Just go into your account on our website (we’ve included a handy button below).  Then go to the Subscriptions tab on the left side.  Then view the subscription that you would like to renew. And now you will see a “Renew Now” button that you can use to renew your box.

In the same webpage, you will also see other options related to your Subscription Box such as Suspend, Cancel, and buttons for changing payment and address.  While we can complete some of these actions for you, we encourage customers to do so themselves when possible.

When you renew early, your next box will remain on the same day of the month as it was originally scheduled.  The early renewal only affects your box for the current month.

This feature is not applicable to Herd Memberships so please don’t use early renewal on them.

We have revamped our Referral Program!

It’s now easier than ever to Give $15 and Get $15 through our Referral Program.  We don’t spend a lot of money of advertising, but rather we focus on producing products that people love and are willing to tell others about.  So we depend on word of mouth to find new customers and ultimately to heal more land.

So in an effort to streamline this process we have made it easier to tell others (via email, Facebook, or Twitter) about Watson Farms.  And it’s all automated on the backend, so you don’t have to rely on us to issue the store credits manually.  Just head over to our Referrals Page and start sharing!

Product Spotlight

We have recently added a bundle that is perfect for Christmas Morning breakfast!  It includes eggs, sausage, uncured bacon, milk and grits!  Support local farmers and have a great Christmas breakfast!

We are also a little heavy on our medium and XL eggs in flats.  They are sold by the case which contains 15 dozen eggs.  Stock up now!

You can see ALL of our ON SALE products with the button below.

For some of our recommended products, check out our Featured Product Page.  You might find something that you didn’t even know we had!

We re-use packaging!

We’ve seen a good response to our efforts in re-using packaging! Thanks and keep it up.

You can help us reduce our carbon footprint by returning your CLEAN egg cartons and meat boxes.

The main reason that we switched to plastic egg cartons a while back was because they are so much more durable than paper which could only be used once.  They also protect the eggs much better!

So if you have some egg cartons or boxes to return, you can just place them on your porch on your home delivery day.  Farm pickup customers can, of course, drop them off when you come to pick up your new order.

***We can only re-use OUR cartons or boxes. Please re-use or recycle other boxes or egg cartons elsewhere.***

Thanks for helping us re-use our packaging!

Did you know that we have a webpage that displays all the reviews we have received?

Check it out!

Check out this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review:

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. They are absolutely sincere and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They keep you updated on what’s coming available and how their livestock is raised. The beef, chicken, pork and eggs are above and beyond comparison. We believe in supporting our local farmers, you can see and taste the difference. Thank you Watson Farms!

We would greatly appreciate it if you would be kind enough to leave us a review.  It helps first-time customers purchase with confidence.

Thanks again for being partners in this endeavor of local, pasture-raised proteins that has truly transformed our farm.  We look forward to continuing this transition while serving you long into the future.

Sincerely,

The Watsons
