In the past few months, we have added a large number of products made by local producers to our offering! We wanted to take a moment to highlight them today and to discuss why we work hard to form partnerships with these local family businesses.
One thing that continually humbles us each week when we see the orders coming through is the fact that you have bypassed traditional marketplaces in favor of shopping from a local family farm.
One reason that these partnerships are valuable is because it’s a win for everyone involved: the producer, the retailer, and you, the consumer!
When we offer these items, a whole new pool of customers now have access to a product they might not have otherwise found out about. And with our customers being some of the most informed people out there, these producers are very thankful to have you all as potential customers. We are grateful to be able to, with your help, assist these producers in finding more customers.
Another reason we think it’s great to have this network of partner producers is because of the convenience of one-stop-shopping. When you can purchase meat and eggs, snacks, milk, kombucha, jams, jellies, pickled items, pecans, cheese spreads, grits, cornmeal and much more, all on the same website or at the same storefront then you can shop more easily and efficiently which makes your whole experience with our farm more pleasant.
We know that most of you probably go out of your way to shop with us even though you might be in a grocery store each week in your normal routine. So we want to do everything possible to make sure that when you do come to our website or our farm store that you can make it worth your time. By the way, one thing that continually humbles us each week when we see the orders coming through is the fact that you have bypassed traditional marketplaces in favor of shopping from a local family farm. That truly provides the encouragement that we often need and we are very grateful.
One other thing that we think is a great benefit to offering our Partner Producer products is the fact that our home delivery business can offer a service that would otherwise be very cost prohibitive for many of these producers. It also makes our routes more economical when we can carry more product on the van.

Here’s an example of multi-species grazing where the cattle help to prepare the pasture ahead of the layer chickens who like shorter grass. Then the chickens sanitize the pasture after the cattle leave.

Order Deadlines and Store Hours
Here’s a friendly reminder to get your orders in by the deadline. We have changed our workflow some to help reduce errors, so we have to begin the process of staging orders for the next day’s delivery very soon after the deadlines below. Help us serve you better by ensuring your order is placed in time!
Charleston Area: 12 noon Mondays
UPS Orders: 12 noon Mondays
Columbia Area deliveries now occur on Wednesdays.
Deadline for the Columbia Area: 12 noon on Tuesdays
GSP: 12 noon on Wednesdays
Charlotte/Fort Mill/Rock Hill Areas: 12 noon on Fridays
Farm Pickup: Please wait until you receive an email stating that your order is ready to be picked up (usually 1 business day from when you place your order). Farm pickup is done during store hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10am to 6pm
Saturday: 10am to 2pm
Closed Sunday and Wednesday
