Ground beef is so versatile that it’s almost a staple for easy, quick, go-to dinners.
To make it an even quicker meal option have you tried cooking 5, 10 or even 20 pounds at once? Here’s how:
- Using a large stock pot, add your ground beef, onions and seasonings.
- Cook until all meat is browned and cooked through.
- Drain and let cool.
- Package meal size portions in freezer storage bags. Lay flat in freezer.
Voila! Not only have you saved freezer space, but also time and multiple messes (no browning meat multiple times). Think one clean up!
Forgot to thaw a meat for tonight’s dinner? No worries, now your ground beef is already cooked & can be thawed quickly or added frozen directly to many dishes as they cook.
