We hope that everyone is staying well and warm with all this cold weather we are getting.

We just wanted to give you some updates on what is going on.

First we have several deliveries coming up. This Thursday January 21st we will be doing home deliveries (York and Chester Counties only), Fort Mill Delivery at 5:45 pm and Rock Hill at 6:30 pm. If you would like to place an order for one of these locations please do so by Wednesday January 20th at noon.

On Friday January 29th we will be doing the Columbia Delivery at 3:30 pm and the Charleston Delivery at 6:00 pm. The Charleston Delivery location has changed again. The NEW ADDRESS is 115 Pier View Street Charleston SC 29492. They have moved the Crossfit Gym to this location. If you would like to place an order for either of these locations please do so by Thursday January 28th at noon.

On Tuesday February 2nd we will be doing the Campobello Delivery at 4:30 pm and the Greenville/Simpsonville Delivery at 6:00 pm. If you would like to place an order for one of these locations please do so by Monday February 1st at noon.

The second thing we wanted to talk about is processing. Now is a great time to get your name on the waiting list for either a half or whole beef or half or whole pig. We already have several people signed up for half and whole beeves at this time. We hope to be able to start processing for this year around the end of February for beef and first of March for pigs. If you know you want a half then the deposit is $100 and a whole is $200. That will get your name on the list to ensure you get an animal this year. We do it all on first come first serve basis, with the order we get the deposits in the mail. We do take cash or checks. Make checks payable to Watson Farms. You can send your deposit to 713 Colony Road, Chester SC 29706.

We hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful weather we have been having. I know we sure are!

We just wanted to send out a reminder of some deliveries we have coming up in the next few weeks.

On Tuesday September 22nd we will be doing our Greenville Delivery at 6:00 pm. We will need all orders for this delivery by Monday September 21st at 12 noon. This will give us time to get the orders together and send out invoices. All invoices for this delivery will be sent out on Monday the 21st.

On Saturdays we do the Hub City Farmers Market in Spartanburg. We are there from 8am – 12noon. You can place an order to pick up or you can just stop by our booth and get your items. If you place an order we will need it on Fridays by noon.

On Thursday October 1st we will be doing our Home Deliveries (York County), Fort Mill Delivery at 5:45 pm and Rock Hill Delivery at 6:30 pm. We will need all orders by Wednesday September 30th at noon.

On Friday October 2nd we will be doing our Columbia Delivery at 3:30 pm and our Charleston Delivery at 6:00 pm. We will need all orders by Thursday October 1st at noon.

We are also offering some specials right now.

If you buy Ground Beef in quantities of 10 then you will get it for $6.25/lb instead of the regular $7.25/lb. You can look at our online shopping cart by going to www.watsonfarmsbeef.com/store and look under beef. When you see the item called Ground Beef – 10 Pack just type in how many you would like. All orders done under this item will be in increments of 10. Now is a good time to stock up.

For those of you who do not want to buy 10 packs at a time we are currently offering a discount single retail packs. The price for Ground Beef is discounted right now to $6.74/lb – that is a 7% discount. You will see that price reflected when you check out.

As a reminder the total you see when you check out is not your final total. All invoices will be emailed the day before your scheduled delivery and will have your final total.

We hope that all our moms out there had a great Mother’s Day.

We now have beef back in stock. Great time to stock up on some steaks and ground beef. It is grilling season! We also now have chickens available. We just processed them on Saturday. We had a great time!

We have several things going on this week.

On Thursday May 14th from 5-8 pm we will be at Old Town Farmers Market. It is located on Caldwell Street in downtown Rock Hill. If you want to make sure you get what you want then you can place an order by Wednesday at noon. We will also have retail cuts with us if you just want to stop by our booth and pick up what you need.

On Friday May 15th we have our Columbia delivery at 3: 30 pm and our Charleston delivery at 6: 00 pm. We will need all orders by Wednesday at 8:00 pm.

On Saturday May 16th we are having our monthly Farm Tour. It will be at 2:00 pm. We encourage you to come out and see how your meat is grown. We will have a great time. You will be able to see where we process the chickens, some chickens out in the pasture, our pigs that we will be processing in July, and then our cows. We will go into detail how the animals are raised and cared for. It is a hay ride tour. We still encourage you to wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. It is $10.00 per person and kids 5 and under are free. Please email kelly@watsonfarmsbeef.com if you are planning to come.  We just like to have a head count. This may be last tour until the fall. It is getting pretty hot out there!

We are going to be starting the tours back up. Our first scheduled tour will be on Saturday March 14th at 2:00 pm. You can follow this link and it will take you to our tours page on the website. It is $10 per person and kids 5 and under are free.
